I'm back from a movie outing..It almost didn't become one because of the huge crowd at vivocity.

Alas, even the massive vivocity couldn't contain the masses that came because of the holiday..so I couldn't watch Pirates. Instead, I watched Shrek..Which was lovable.. :)

The humour was great!! You have to admit that animation now is bringing movies to a whole new level..

Sigh, there's work tomorrow..so I'm still quite worried..

My bosses are gonna leave me alone in the office this coming Tuesday because 3 of them will be in HK and one of them has taken leave for Tuesday..

From what they mentioned yesterday, I will be waiting in the office for their emails and carrying out duties they assign from emails..

Like how stressful?!?!?!?!


Sigh....

My bosses comments so far have been:

• You have to be very careful.

• You have to learn to CYA (cover your a*s)

Sigh... Life's really complicated sometimes.. but I guess I have to learn..

But guess what, this morning when I went to a temple for Vesak Day, I was totally not careful at all..

When we were taking food, I scalded myself..

When I was helping the small 'buddha' bathe, I actually toppled him over...

So he was submerged in flower water for almost half a minute before the helper managed to find him..

SORRY!!! : (

I'm filled with embarrassment and regret..

Even when I tried to throw rubbish away, the rubbish wouldn't enter the bin properly..Sigh..

I must be having problems with my nerves and muscles..

I'm just not a careful person I guess...

My new year resolution is to be more careful from now on..

Anyways, back to the title of this entry..

I was browsing through blogs and I'm quite determined to have a meal at Starbucks soon..

I wanna indulge in Coffee and Cake.. HAHA!!!

My ideal day would be to have Java Chip/Green Tea Frapp. and have a cheesecake/muffin/brownie..or maybe I should call it an ideal lunch..
Then I'll just idle my time away in my indulgence..
Can't wait for that day to come.. : )

About booze...my bro's having a party with his friends next week and he's the host because he did damn well for his exams..and they had a promise or sth that whoever got the best grades would have to treat the rest.. (Sigh, if only i could do the same..)

So yay! My dad bought lotsa booze for my bro..
I'm hoping to be able to have some.. *fingers crossed* : )

Thanks to my work, I'm suddenly very interested in cigarettes.. (Note: I said 'cigarettes', not 'smoking'..) I found myself examining different brands of cigarettes at the counter earlier and looking at the prices..

The fact that she's my niece means she has to call me 'auntie' and my brothers 'uncle'. So when she saw my younger bro, my aunt asked her to call 'uncle'. Then she went, "No, this is a kor kor." Then when my mum asked her, "so am I a 'jiejie'?" She said, "NO."


My mum went insane..


HAHAH!!


The next time she came, my mum was like, "If you call me 'jiejie', I will don't know do what, [can't remember cos I was tipsy (This is another story)]" Anyways, Claire called her jiejie in the end, so she was elated..





So she went on and 'bullied' the poor girl.. while she enjoyed being called a jiejie, she tried to get numbers out of the poor girl..I think she could only write 'one'...so yeah, if u want to buy 4D, buy 1111..haha!! and if u win, i don't care, i'll share the wins..

I just realised that it seems as if we're holding hands or something..but please don't misunderstand...if you look closely, my hands are hidden..yeah..cos I was holding the camera pouch!! And my bro's leaning against a table or something..




According to my mum, we got our 'white teeth' from my dad. My younger bro inherited her 'yellow teeth'.

The start of the 2nd week of my job...
Today was kinda interesting because I started on my mini project..my mini SOLO project..
Walked around the office to look for this senior guy to discuss details of my project..haha!!!
Like so pro right???
Well, it's not over yet la.

Today was full of many surprises..Some good, some crappy..
Firstly, there was a gathering organized for all the interns at the company! So sweet of them..they sponsored Crystal Jade..
Not bad right??
The problem was that I was to busy with my work that I went down late...I was only about 5 mins late and they went off w/0 me alr..
haiz..
And I didn't know we were actually leaving the premises of the office for lunch..
So I was double-shocked..
The receptionist recognized me for some reason and told me to wait, etc cos they were coming back for me..
Haha..
Strange..but yeah, it's kinda like SMU here..Everyone knows everyone..

Then I had planned to meet the senior guy at 1.30pm but I only left CrystalJade at 1.30pm..
then there were delays and stuff..I only reached the office at 2plus..
Luckily the man was kind and agreed to postpone the meeting.. I changed it to 3pm..
Then I was busy again and ALMOST was late..haha!! but I wasn't!! Though I had to visit the toilet, meet somemore people, etc..

The most tragic thing happened..I was trying to pia my work, doing up things for my project and managing the daily stuff that I'm supposed to do..Before I knew it, it was 5.25pm..Damn..I refused to stop and what happened??
My company bus left without me..I was still chasing after it but I guess they wouldn't have stopped..So in the end, I hopped on to some random bus that was just about to leave and kindly stopped for my sake..
It doesn't pay to be hardworking these days...

So yeah, anyways, I ended up travelling from Woodlands to Yishun, down to Khatib then to Yio Chu Kang.
Took the train from there..
I managed to reach home in time for "the beginning"...

Then at 8 sth, I went to pick up my brother from the MRT..
He bought i-weekly and I read the sypnosis for the show..sigh..gonna be quite boring leh..
see how la...

Busy busy busy...

OOH!!

I had praised Blogger for repairing the html..but obviously nothing's been done because my entry earlier has disappeared..

Today is the 2nd day of work..

It's a nice place to work in la...apart from the fact that it is SUPER far, I think the people so far have been nice!! I have a feeder bus that takes care of my transportation to and fro.. And the company provides free lunch for all its staff members..SO I save quite a bit..

Looking forward to the weekends..

Although I must say that the bus uncle is a little grouchy..He thinks the worse of people in general.. I try to say good morning and see you tomorrow and he acts as if I scolded him or something...HAIZ..

My family is full of problems..Really cannot say much over here.Let's just say things are PRETTY extreme now..

I feel kinda weird at work..Like there's nothing much to say to 4 finance kind of men..middle-aged.. So I feel like I'm kinda anti-social leh..Haiz...

Bleah..watching TV now..I'm really very sad..SIAN!!

Anyways, I would like to tell all you people that I have recovered from the evil disease..except for the fact that my throat feels weird and I get dizzy sometimes..

Oh well, today is the last day of freedom for me. From tomorrow onwards, I begin my OL life..HAHA!!!

Yesterday marked the end of the EPL season 06/07.

So I guess we won't be hearing much about Man Utd and Co. until they do come to Southeast asia or something..
After seeing them play West Ham last night, I got this feeling that unless they improve their play, its hard to see them playing well against Chelsea..Seriously..
Van der sar needs to improve on his goal-keeping, Players need to start scoring.

In case you haven't noticed, I changed my skin in livejournal.com to that of a snowman.. HAHA..a little childish right?? I should be changing my skin over here too..

Back to topic, I officially declare that I'm going to start investing my money..
Well, more like my mum coerced me into doing it..(as usual)

After my bath, she called me into her room and started to explain how she does her investments..and before I knew it, she queued an order for me to buy unit trusts.. o_O
In case you were wondering, I just went to wikipedia to find the exact meaning of unit trust..just to make sure that it is what I think it is..HAHAHA..

okay, enough of the not-so-interesting topic of finance and investment..

Let's talk about something which more people can relate to..tv drama serials..

What are my thoughts on the 长河remake: 原点?
I liked 长河!! Many many years ago, Zoe Tay, Li Nanxing and Benedict Goh(That's another story)!! Well, it's probably just me but I'm not used to the Lianbang Chinese..So it makes me feel very uneasy listening to the Malaysian actors say their lines..
Nevertheless, the storyline is nice I suppose.. but one can also say that it's created because it needs to be created..I mean, if the girl likes guy A all along then tell guy B straight in his face and not give him hope in the first place..
hmm..but then again, maybe some people are just rather stubborn or something..and they have evil genes..

Oh yeah, before I end this post, can someone tell me how to delete posts?? I have an empty post if you haven't realised..

Too late

It's too late to do any critique of Man Utd's performance this morning.
I wanted to read my Nicholas Sparks' novel 'The Wedding' until it was time for the match at 2.45am but somehow, I fell asleep and 'someone' helped to turn off the lights and shut down my laptop..

I really have no idea who did that..It's either my mum or in my daze I did all of that already...(but it's quite unlikely..I found my novel on my bedroom floor..

But back to Man Utd, there were so many questions:
1. all of them were so tired!! Why didn't Ferguson sub the players? I bet Alan Smith, Solskjaer would have done a better job then Saha who obviously is losing his concentration in the game.
2. Carrick played soooo badly..Scholes did well..Giggs played badly..Rooney did his best..Ronaldo well..probably one of his off-form days..
3. Why play Vidic?? He was totally off-form!!!

Okay, credit has to be given to Milan.
Gatusso was very driven, Pirlo too..The defence was better.. and Dida seems to have stepped out of his low form..
Kaka as usual somehow is very intelligent..haha..what i mean to say is that he is a very intelligent player..

Side-tracking a little, I think Maldini looks damn good in civies..His white shirt and jeans..and that killer belt..
HAHA..okay before my little Man Utd fans start scolding me..

But really, there was nothing that could be said abt Man Utd's performance except it was VERY bad.
Sigh..

Sex and the city

Sex and the city is a nice show..haha..
It is really one of the must watch shows of HBO.
I don't have HBO.my cousin lent me the VCDs.
There's Kim Cattral, Sarah Jessica Parker, etc..Really nice show with hot guys!
HAHA..

Anyways, tonight's the night Man Utd face AC Milan at the San Siro..
Sigh, I don't know how the game will go but heck la, Chelsea's not gonna win the quadruple now..haha..
Liverpool is really good at the Champions League..

I'm watching this HK drama about betrayal and scheming evil bad people..but there is love..
Sigh, how do we judge whether our decisions are right or wrong?
Maybe there's no answer..
